This past summer, John Vidulich, a counselor/AP Coordinator from Monarch High School in Louisville, CO, and I presented a workshop titled “Techniques for an Effective Exam Registration” at the AP Annual Conference in San Antonio, TX. I know with the economy and budget cuts, there were many of you who did not have an opportunity to attend. John and I thought that it might be helpful to make the notes of our workshop available to everyone. The techniques and tricks presented in the workshop are a compilation of lessons I’ve learned over the past 7 years helping a variety of schools register students. For 2009, I helped 96 schools register more than 30,000 students for nearly 56,000 exams. This has given me a unique perspective and allowed me to quickly accumulate time-saving tricks from multiple sources.
